A Patent of the UAIS Laboratory Won the China Patent Gold Award

On November 11th, 2020, the 12th China International Patent Technology and Product Trade Fair with the theme of “Intellectual Property Leading High Quality Economic Development” opened in Dalian, and the 21st China Patent Award was awarded at the opening ceremony. Changyu Shen, director of the State Intellectual Property Office, Ning Liu, deputy secretary of Liaoning provincial Party Committee and vice-governor, and Zuojun Tan, member of the Standing Committee of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Dalian Municipal Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and presented awards to the winners. Hongsen Deng , director general of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), addressed the conference via video, and Hua Liu, director of the WIPO China office, attended the conference.
At the China Patent Award ceremony, Wenhui Hu, deputy director of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, announced the award decision of the 21st China Patent Award and presented awards to representatives of 30 China Patent Award winners.
In the 21st China Patent Award, there are 30 Gold awards, 58 Silver awards and 696 Excellence Awards, 10 Gold awards, 15 Silver awards and 60 Excellence Awards for design.
The invention patent of Professor Bin Hu (the first inventor), Professor Qinglin Zhao and Associate Professor Hong Peng, “A Depression Determination System based on EEG and Temperature (zl201610709400.9)” won the Chinese Patent Gold Award.
