On the morning of November 24, 2020, the National Commendation Conference for Model Workers and Advanced Workers was grandly held in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. Professor Bin Hu from the UAIS Lab, School of Information Science and Engineering, Lanzhou University, was awarded the honorary title of National Advanced Worker. On the same evening, Wu Guosheng, Standing Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, went to Ningwozhuang Hotel to welcome Professor Bin Hu back with honors and extended congratulations on behalf of the university.
