Graduation Requirements
Doctoral Candidates
A doctoral student shall meet one of the following requirements for graduation:
- Publication of one paper in an SCI Tier 2 journal or one paper in a CCF Class A venue.
- Publication of a total of three papers in either CCF Class B venues (conference papers must be presented at the main conference) or general SCI-indexed journals.
- Students who have made significant contributions may refer to the graduation requirements specified by the college.
Master’s Candidates
A master’s candidate shall meet one of the following requirements for graduation:
Publication of one paper in an SCI-indexed journal, a CCF Class B (or higher) venue, or an Australian Class A conference (the qualification of the conference shall be determined through discussion with the supervisor). Completion of assigned laboratory tasks (serving as the principal person-in-charge of a project or undertaking the task of writing a high-level paper assigned by the laboratory) while satisfying the graduation requirements specified by the college.
