On March 27, 2024, at the invitation of Professor Bin Hu, Professor Zhigeng Pan—Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence (School of Future Technologies) and the Metaverse Research Institute of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology—visited the Gansu Key Laboratory of Wearable Devices and the UAIS Laboratory for academic exchange. All faculty and students of the laboratories extended a warm welcome to Professor Pan. During the visit, Professor Pan toured the Gansu Key Laboratory of Wearable Devices. Faculty and students of the laboratory demonstrated a series of system achievements including the 3-channel EEG depression assessment system, wearable eye tracker, and VR bicycle feedback training system, and introduced the ongoing research projects. After the exchange, Professor Pan delivered an academic report titled Metaverse and Intelligent Interaction to all faculty and students of the School of Information Science and Engineering.
