The 2021 Annual Meeting of the Gansu Key Laboratory of Wearable Devices and UAIS Laboratory was held in a combined online and offline format on January 8, 2022, with all faculty and students of the laboratories in attendance. The meeting was chaired by Professor Hong Peng. Group leaders of the laboratories delivered 2021 work reports, summarizing the research achievements of their respective groups over the year and outlining work plans for the upcoming year. Professor Bin Hu delivered a concluding speech. He pointed out that 2021 was a valuable and rewarding year, during which the laboratories had achieved fruitful results thanks to the hard work of all faculty and students. He emphasized that the new year marked a fresh start, and encouraged all members to make persistent efforts, work together in unity, and write a new chapter of development. Finally, after the stages of individual application, defense presentation and voting, the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, Outstanding Master’s Dissertation Award, Best Application Team Award and Outstanding Contribution Team Award of the Gansu Key Laboratory of Wearable Devices and UAIS Laboratory for 2021 were selected. Professor Bin Hu presented honorary certificates to the winning students and teams.
